Spruce Cabin

Aptly named, this Alaskan log cabin is surrounded by beautiful Black Spruce trees. After a long day exploring, kick back on the front porch and watch and listen for birds and squirrels frolicking amongst their branches. You’ll feel like you’re in the middle of nature.

Denali Tri-Valley Cabins are located 250 miles North of Anchorage and 110 miles South of Fairbanks in the town of Healy, Alaska. We are just 12 miles from the entrance to Denali National Park. The Denali area business district appears just before you cross the Nenana river into Denali National Park and the entrance to the Park. It is in the business district where you will find dozens of restaurants, gift shops, local tour activity offices, etc.

Each of our cabins has been hand built by local craftsmen and are very well done. Every cabin features handmade log furniture, two queen beds, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, internet and TV with Roku and of course a complete compliment of bath amenities.

Your cabin is within walking distance of a full service grocery and liquor store, several restaurants, convenience stores and gas stations. Walking and hiking is right out your front door with majestic views of the Alaska Range. A great place to make your base camp for your visit to Denali National Park.

A great place to stay! Staff is available 24/7.

Denali  (also known as Mount McKinley, its former official name) is the highest mountain peak in North America, with a summit elevation of 20,310 feet (6,190 m) above sea level. Denali rises about 18,000 feet (5,486 m) from its base, exceeding Everest’s 12,000 feet (3,658 m) vertical rise from base at around 17,000 feet (5,182 m). Denali is the third most prominent and third most isolated peak after Mount Everest and Aconcagua. Located in the Alaska Range in the interior of the U.S. state of Alaska, Denali is the centerpiece of Denali National Park and Preserve.

“We had a wonderful stay in the Moose cabin! It was clean, comfortable and everything was top notch! We walked to the 49th State Brewery two nights in a row and it was a very quick drive to Denali National Park. We wish we could have stayed another night!

“Good place for a short stay near Denali National Park. Reasonable price for the area. Everything is new and looks great. The furniture is pretty uncomfortable, though, and the beds are high–could be a problem for people with back or leg problems. Healy is an excellent location, distant from crazy and touristy Glitter Gulch.”
